Des FitzGerald - Chief Executive Officer, Founder

Des FitzGerald is the founder and former CEO of Ducktrap River Fish Farm, Inc., a leading producer of seafood products. Des started the company in 1978 in Maine and served as its CEO until 1999 when he became the CEO of the holding company ContiSea. Des has taught leadership courses at the University of Maine Business School and worked as a consultant for Brimstone Consulting. Des is a founding member of Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility (MEBSR) and a past president of the Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM).

David Conover - Chief Creative Officer, Founder

David Conover was born and raised in a New England family with strong ties to the sea and a tradition of active storytelling. In 1987, he directed and produced his first documentary, Outward Bound, which aired on National Geographic Explorer. David is the founder of Compass Light Productions, which has produced over 60 hours of award-winning broadcast television since then.

Jeff Garrard - Executive Producer

Jeff Garrard has over 20 years experience in producing electronic media. He spent 12 years at CNN, first as a writer-producer for news and sci-tech coverage, and then as executive producer for CNN.com. He has also worked for Homestore.com as VP of editorial content. More recently he's served as a managing partner of Animusic, overseeing ecommerce, marketing and operations.

Dominic Schmitt - Advisor

Dominic Schmitt is a multimedia producer, developer, and business manager with over two decades of experience developing interactive programs and websites for ABC News, ABC Sports, the NBA, Barnes & Noble, Churchill Downs, Gold Magazine, and the Sporting News. Most recently, he served as founding member of TACODA, in which he pioneered behavioral targeting for clients such as USA Today, the New York Times, iVillage, the LA Times and About. com. In September 2007, TACODA was acquired by AOL Time Warner.
